Submit a Privacy Request

Exercise your rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar US state privacy laws.

What you can request

Access / know: a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction: fix inaccurate personal data
Deletion: delete personal data we collected from or about you
Portability: receive your data in a portable, readily usable format
Opt-out: opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects (note: we do not engage in any of these today, so there is currently nothing to opt out of)
Appeal: appeal a decision we made on a previous request

We respond to verified requests within 45 days. If we need more time we will tell you and may extend by an additional 45 days.
We verify your identity before acting, typically by confirming control of the email address tied to your account or, for visitors, by matching information you previously provided to the digital greeter.
Requests are free of charge, except where law permits a fee for repeated or manifestly unfounded requests.
Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written authorization and, where applicable, proof of identity.
If your request relates to a conversation with a digital greeter on a church's website, that church is the controller of your data. We will forward your request to the church or coordinate with them to fulfill it.

The email address tied to your account (or, for visitors, a visitor identifier or church website where you used the greeter, if known)
Your state of residence
The type of request you are making
For authorized-agent requests: the consumer's written authorization and your contact information
For appeals: a reference to your previous request
